🚫 No smoking, vaping, or open flames inside the home or within 25 feet of the house or any structure. If you choose to smoke, please do so at least 25 feet away from the house, deck, stargazing dome, and hot tub areas, and ensure that all doors and windows remain closed to keep the interior fresh and scent-free. Always dispose of cigarette butts safely and responsibly — never in the fire pit, planters, or surrounding woods.

How private is the cabin?
Desire & Devotion is part of a quiet mountain community, with neighbors set 200–300 feet away and softened by thick natural tree coverage. The surrounding forest creates a peaceful, secluded atmosphere that feels private while still being comfortably close to town.
How far are Blue Ridge and McCaysville?
Both towns are 15-25 minutes away, giving you quick access to restaurants, wineries, shops, and activities.
Is the cabin hard to access?
No, it’s very easy to access. The road is paved until the driveway.
Do I need a 4×4?
No. Any vehicle is fine year-round, though mountain areas can occasionally get slick during winter weather.
Is the area safe?
Yes. It’s a peaceful residential area chosen specifically for privacy, comfort, and tranquility.
Is there wildlife?
Yes. Deer, birds, ladybugs and small woodland animals are common. Please keep doors closed to avoid wildlife entering the home. Mosquitos are rare.
Are there exterior cameras?
Yes—one camera faces the driveway to ensure safety and occupancy compliance.
There are no cameras inside or facing private areas.
Is there cell service?
Cell phone service is weak near the cabin for most carriers (1-2 bars), so high-speed Internet is provided.
Is the cabin soundproof?
The forest and natural distance between homes help absorb sound. You’ll feel quiet and secluded, but please maintain outdoor courtesy after 10 p.m.
Is the hot tub cleaned between stays?
Yes. It is fully drained, sanitized, refilled, and chemically balanced between every reservation.
Is the sauna available for use?
Yes. Please follow posted property guide instructions, including recommended time limits.
What if I’m not comfortable with something in the Red Room?
Simply set aside anything you don’t wish to use. The room is curated for a variety of comfort levels. It’s an opportunity to experiment, explore, and play. Enthusiastic consent and an open mind bring the best results. Many couples who would describe themselves as “very vanilla” have exceptional experiences together.
Are Red Room items sanitized?
Yes. All items are cleaned, sanitized, and inspected after each stay.
Can we bring our own items?
Yes, as long as they do not damage surfaces or fabrics. Avoid glitter, body paint, wax, adhesives, or oils that stain.
Do you offer romance add-ons?
Yes— please ask for availability.
Do you provide toiletries?
Yes—shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, and basic essentials are provided.
Is the kitchen fully equipped?
Yes. You’ll find cookware, utensils, dishware, spices, a Keurig, a drip coffee maker, barware, and more.
Is there WiFi and streaming?
Yes—reliable high-speed WiFi and smart TVs.
Is smoking allowed?
Smoking or vaping is prohibited indoors and within 25 feet of the cabin, dome, deck, and hot tub. Dispose of cigarette butts safely and keep doors/windows closed.
Can we decorate for a celebration?
Small, non-damaging decorations are allowed, but no glitter, confetti, candles, or adhesives.
We can also set up celebration packages for you upon request with lead time.
Are pets allowed?
No—this helps us maintain allergy-free and pristine conditions.
What are the check-in and check-out times?

Can I request early check-in or late check-out?
Sometimes. It depends on the cleaning schedule. Please ask ahead of time.
How do I check in?
You’ll receive a digital guide and an entry code for the smart lock before arrival.
What is required at checkout?
Just a few simple steps:
• Load and run the dishwasher
• Bag and take out trash
• Ensure all doors/windows are locked
• Leave beds unmade
• Turn off lights/AC/heat
No deep cleaning required.
Do you offer direct booking?
Yes—direct booking is available and may offer the best rate.
What is your cancellation policy?
We adhere to the policy shown on your booking platform. We cannot make exceptions for weather, illness, or schedule changes.
Is a security deposit required?
Some booking platforms require it automatically.
Are parties allowed?
No. Parties, gatherings, or additional guests are strictly prohibited.
What is the maximum occupancy?
2 registered guests—no exceptions, and no visitors allowed.
Is the cabin adults-only?
Yes. All guests must be 21+. No children or infants are permitted.
Can I film content?
Commercial or paid filming is not allowed. Personal, non-commercial content is fine (and encouraged).
Can I rearrange furniture?
No. Please do not move large furniture or take items outdoors unless they are specifically meant to be outside.
What if something breaks during our stay?
Please notify us right away so we can address it promptly.
